Browser extensions
Extensions for the jobs a web page can't do on its own, like listening to a meeting in another tab. They're free to install and use the same account and plan as the website.
Live transcript and key points for browser meetings · version 1.0.0
Turns on when you click it in a Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, Webex, Whereby or Jitsi call. It writes a live transcript, picks out key points and action items every few minutes, and writes full notes when the meeting ends, ready to copy or download.
Works in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Arc (version 116 or newer). Firefox and Safari don't let extensions record a tab yet.
Limits
Meetings count as Live Transcribe sessions. Guests get 1 a day and free accounts 5, up to 1 hour each. Paid plans cover meetings of up to 3, 6 or 12 hours. Compare plans

Notes start straight away in the side panel, recording the meeting tab and your microphone. The meeting stays audible as normal.
The transcript updates about every 30 seconds, and key points and action items appear every few minutes.
When you stop or leave the call, full notes are written: summary, key points, action items and discussion.
